- From the different letters/interviews being reposted from VIScom employees, it
- seems they for the time being leaving their hands off of AT. AT should
- already have a budget (plus the sales of current Amigas, software, ect) for
- its R&D. Its the advertising that AT was on it's hands and knees for, not the
- R&D. And from all sources, IMHO, it looks like AT was subbing out a chunk of
- the work on the different projects to outside firms. Look at the OS, it's
- been subcontracted to Olaf. I don't see VIScom trying to break existing
- contracts and fearing the rath of the those who AT is clearly dependent on,
- not to mention legal action which is nothing but a financial black hole.
- Since VIScom is in all appearance forward looking, they know how critical
- timing is. It would harm their $40 million dollar investment in AT to slow
- down R&D and it would harm thier future STB developement as well.
-

- Or atleast their advertising dollars (or Marks, whichever).

- Who says VIScom is hurting that bad after shelling out $40 million?
